Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics Professor
Horry Georgetown Technical College invites applications for the position of Associate Professor in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics beginning Fall 2020. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will be expected to achieve excellence in teaching and service, and to assist in further development of the Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics programs.
This position is responsible for teaching four (4) courses per semester. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in such service activities as program development, course development, program assessment, and program accreditation. The successful applicant will also be expected to provide instruction in a full range of undergraduate Information Technology courses that include, but are not limited to Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Penetration Testing, Operating Systems (Windows and Linux), Object-Oriented Programming, Computer Networks, and IT Project Management.
Master’s degree in, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Information Technology or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs required.
• Experience in developing both face-to-face and online courses.
